Sara Murphy Oppler – Secretary

Sara Murphy Oppler is the Business Operations Director at Washington Mental Health Counselors Association. She is in charge of their communications, online presence (website/social media), member relations, and continuing education in addition to assisting the Board with other business operation functions.

​

Sara has 15+ years in the Human Resources field, primarily in the non-profit sector. She has worked for a wide variety of organizations including a university foundation, a community mental health center and a job training non-profit.

Sara is the current Chair of the Kirkland Salary Commission, volunteers at a local elementary school and is passionate about children’s literature. She runs a popular children’s book review account on Instagram called Bookoholicmom.

 

Sara believes that everyone should have equal access to high quality medical care.

 

Sara attended Washington State University with an Honors Society scholarship. She transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

 

Sara lives with her husband, two children, and Australian Cattle Dog in Kirkland, WA. She enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors with her family, including skiing, biking, climbing and hiking. Edit Edited with WPBakery Page Builder
